Benco scissor lift handling equipment has been installed in the resin transfer moulding (RTM) section at Kilkeel in Northern Ireland to handle the production requirements of the BE Aerospace five RTM moulding cells, making the production of aircraft seat components safer and more efficient.
A special purpose jib crane has also been supplied to BE Aerospace in Kilkeel for the lift, swing and rotation of multiple loads, with the capability of operation within three separate work cell areas.
Purpose built engine positioner units have been supplied to Komatsu Reman for their European Remanufacturing Facility. The positioners facilitate building of remanufactured engines up to three tons in weight and ranging from 3.2 litres (54hp/40kW) up to units of 23.2 litres (774hp/580kW) in size. The units were designed to comply with specific customer requirements and were delivered within eight weeks of order.
Benco special purpose manipulator and turnover stands have been supplied to Terrapin Ltd for use in the manufacture of modular buildings. The stands are used for the manipulation of both roof and floor chassis in the Prospex range of steel framed volumetric modules
